Day 1. Saturday. "Na zdorovye" (russian "Cheers").
Welcome to Russia! Our Ivans (guides) will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to the cool downtown hotel.
That evening the whole team will go to one of the best Moscow's pubs renowned for having over 100 different types of craft beers and ales. Drink up - get to know each other. Time to make some friends! Day 2. Sunday. Back in the U.S.S.R.
This day will be all about Soviet history. First stop will be Soviet Space museum where you'll get to see a real space shuttle, Gagarins astronaut suit that he wore during the first ever flight for man in space. We will even get to try borscht in a tube!
From high space to deep grounds, our next stop is the famous Moscow subway system with beautiful stations and a real army bunker. You will get a chance to experience a day in the life of Stalin during the times of the Cold War.
After a full day of deep diving into Soviet history, let's spend the evening on a lighter note at the museum of Soviet arcades. Feel like a real 80's kid again (or for the first time) while playing the original Tetris and many other nostalgic games.
We'll cap off the evening sipping on cocktails, 80 floors up with stellar panoramic views of Moscow at night. Day 3. Monday. Ride a real tank/You're in the army now.
When was the last time your morning started with a tank ride and AK-47 shoot? Our morning will start on a military base full of guns, armored vehicles and adrenaline. After that we are going to eat real russian soldier meal "kasha"
After the lunch we'll travel back in time to the ancient white Sudal's Kremlin - fortified citadel dating from the 10th century, walk the Old City and ride "troika" - a traditional Russian harness driving horse combination. Day 4. Tuesday. Become a Boyar (russian aristocrat).
In the morning we will visit the outside museum with wooden mills, peasants log houses and churches build without using any nails.
We'll have a lunch in a tavern right beside a lake shore, and the evening we will spend in a inn where we could lay down on a warm traditional stove like russian fairy tale heroes.
Some other stuff we'll do this day: experience famous russian nature, visit animal farm with cows and pigs, make yourself meat pierogies, ride horses and jump in a refreshing lake after hot traditional russian banya (sauna) Day 5. Wednesday. Datcha-Style.
Deeper and deeper down to Russia's Heart, we will travel further from big loud cities in the area of beautiful untouched nature. Our next stop will be a Valaday lake surrounded by forest. The skies are always clear there and air is fresh.
We will try the best russian summer activity - mushroom picking, boat paddling, fishing and singing.
We'll try to learn some russian curse words and figure out the mysterious russian soul
. Day 6. Thursday. From rags to riches.
After amazing chill nature day we will head north to a big city lights. On the way there we will stop in Veliky Novgorod, the 900-year old Russian city with a rich history. Here we'll see historical Viking fortress, climb the chapel, have a borscht lunch and go further.
We'll get to Saint Petersburg right before the dinner. To get a better appetite will walk the Nevsky St (beautiful main city street), try soviet style doughnuts and just to give a break from all the russian food we ate, dinner will be served in a gorgeous russian-asian restaurant. Day 7. Friday. Feel like a poet.
What is Saint Peterburg is famous for? Aristocratic castles, Northern Venice (city's nickname) canals, gorgeous cathedrals,as well as well-looking apartment buildings the city is famous for. We'll see their outside, inside and even from above.
But the best part of St Petersbur is people. There is a reason behind the citys nickname - Cultural Capital of Russia. We'll visit cities best people and feel very bohemian.
Time for night walks and famous act of the night - bridge drawing. Day 8. Saturday. Party like a Russian!
This morning we'll say good-bye to the Northen Capital and take a fast train to Moscow. Just 4 hours!
We'll see different faces of Moscow - from a new conceptual park Zaryadye to cake-looking cathedral Vasil Blazheny. We'll take a walk with a small streets of downtown so we could get to the most posh neighborhood Patriarshi Prudi at night.
Here we'll find the best restaurants, best people, best parties. It the best way to finish the journey.
Party like a Russian! Day 9. Sunday. Come back home.
Everything that you experienced for the past week will feel like a dream - bears, russian dolls, balalaikas. Sleepy towns and big cities. Picturesque nature and traditional art. Tanks and guns. People. And here you could say I've visited Russia!
Just don't get late to your flight.
